Staff Biography

Amaya Urzaa, CBA

Experience

Amaya Urzaa is a Certified Business Appraiser accredited by the Institute of Business Appraisers.  She has been providing business valuation services since 2006.  Prior to pursuing formal appraiser accreditation, Amaya was Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer at a local community bank.  She has thirteen years’ experience in banking.  She was a lending officer evaluating businesses and granting business loans for five of those years, and has experience with commercial and industrial, SBA, commercial real estate, and developer and investor lending.  Amaya has been featured as a guest speaker on business planning and financing at Clackamas Community College and Washington State University Vancouver Campus.

 

Education

Bachelor of Arts in International Studies – Portland State University (2003).  Thematic focus on economics.  Regional focus on Latin America.
